Beef Kapama In The Slow Cooker

  Ingredients List:

  • 1-1/2 lbs. beef
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
 

Method:

  1. Cut beef into 3" cubes and place in slow cooker
  2. Chop onion and garlic and add to beef
  3. Add olive oil, cinnamon, crushed tomatoes and water and mix well
  4. Season to taste, cover and slow cook for 6-8 hours

 

Notes & Tips:
  • Makes 4-6 servings
  • Bone-in or off beef can be used
  • Serve with pasta of choice, rice or Greek crusty bread for the sauce
  • Can be frozen
  • 10 minutes to prepare, 6-8 hours cook time
