Crustless Feta Pie | Naked Tyropita

  Ingredients List:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup Greek strained yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 200g Greek gruyere cheese
  • 400g feta cheese
  • 1 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • Pepper to taste
 

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350*f/160*c
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine flour & baking powder and mix well
  3. Add the yogurt, eggs, melted butter & milk and continue to  mix
  4. Grate gruyere and crumble feta cheese into mixture and fold to combine
  5. Pour cheese mixture into lightly oiled 9"x13" pan and spread evenly
  6. Bake for approx. 45 minutes or until golden brown on top

 

Notes & Tips:
  • Makes 8-12 pieces
  • Serve with a Greek side salad
  • Allow to sit for about 20-30 minutes before cutting
  • Use almond flour for a low-carb version
