Fall Off The Bone Slow Cooker Ribs

  Ingredients List:

  • 4 lbs. pork ribs
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 1 jalapenos pepper (optional)
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup Greek dry red wine
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tbsp. dried rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. dried Greek oregano
  • 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
 

Method:

  1. Cut ribs into portion pieces (about 2-4 ribs)
  2. In a food processor, add all of the ingredients and pulse to a coarse blend
  3. Layer ribs in slow cooker and pour sauce over ribs
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours

 

Notes & Tips:
  • Serve with rice, potatoes or Greek salad
  • Same recipe can be used for pulled pork or beef (ribs)
  • Ribs can be marinated for up to 24 hours before cooking
