Greek Deviled Eggs

Ingredients List:

  • 12 hard boiled and peeled eggs
  • 1 tbsp. sriracha sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • 30g feta cheese
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Sliced large pimento olives 
  • Salt & pepper to taste

 Method:

  1. Hard boil and peel 12 large eggs
  2. Slice eggs lengthwise and remove the yolks and place in bowl or food processor
  3. Add feta to yolks and 1/2 the olive oil
  4. Combine ingredients in bowl or food processor slowly adding olive oil until desired consistency
  5. Fill egg whites with yolk mixture using a piping bag or plastic bag (like in the video)
  6. Lightly sprinkle with paprika
  7. Garnish with pimento olive slices

 

Notes & Tips:

  • Consistency of yolk mixture should be similar to peanut butter
  • Spice to desired amount
  • Easy on the salt as feta is pretty salty already
  • Serve chilled
