Greek-Style Fried Calamari

Ingredients List:

  • 1 lb. calamari
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oil in fry pan to 360*
  2. Combine flour with salt & pepper
  3. Slice calamari in about 1/4" thick rings
  4. Evenly coat calamari rings with flour
  5. Shake off excess flour
  6. Fry until golden brown

 Notes & Tips:

  •  Place on flat surface with paper towel for excess oil
  • Salt & pepper immediately after frying (optional)
  • Serve with lemon wedges and tzatziki
  • Add 1 cup of Greek olive oil to pan for extra flavour (optional)
