Greek-Style Turkey Meatballs

Greek Turkey Meatballs

  Ingredients List:

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp. dried mint
  • Bunch of parsley
  • 1 tbsp. dried Greek oregano
  • 4 tbsp. Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour (for dredging)
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Pre-heat oil in frying pan to 360*f
  2. In a bowl place ground turkey and set aside
  3. In a food processor combine very finely chop onion, garlic, parsley, dried herbs and 4 tbsp. olive oil
  4. Add mixture and egg to ground turkey and hand mix well
  5. Form into small balls (1-1/4") and dredge in flour
  6. Slowly place each meatball in frying oil and cook until nicely browned (turning occasionally)
  7. Place each meatball on paper towel lined plate   


Notes & Tips:
  • Add water after mixing ground turkey for added moistness
  • Serve with tzatziki, veggie sticks or french fries
