Grilled Halloumi & Fig Salad With A Balsamic Reduction

  Ingredients List:

  • 200g halloumi cheese
  • Mixed greens
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup dried figs
  • 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Place salad greens onto large serving platter
  2. Chop walnuts & figs and sprinkle over greens
  3. Grill halloumi on both sides and place in the centre of the platter over the mixed greens
  4. In a small sauce pan. add balsamic & honey and heat until slightly thickened
  5. Drizzle balsamic reduction and olive oil over entire salad


Notes & Tips:
  • Serve immediately
  • Heat Balsamic & honey on med-low heat
  • Can be served as a side salad or as a main course
