Olive Oil Ravani Cake

  Ingredients List:



  1. Pre-heat oven to 350* f/160*c
  2. In a large pot, combine all of the ingredients
  3. Cook on medium heat stirring constantly until cake mixture thickens to a fudge consistency
  4. Pour into 12" round or square baking pan
  5. Smooth the top of the thickened  batter
  6. With a sharp non-serrated knife score  pieces (see video)
  7. Place 1 clove in the centre of each scored piece
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until golden  brown on top

  • Makes 12-15 pieces
  • You can omit the cloves and sprinkle top with cinnamon
