Quick & Easy Lagana | Greek Lenten Flatbread Without Yeast

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400*f/200*c
  2. In a bowl add flour, salt and olive oil
  3. Add 1-1/2 cups water and adjust as needed 
  4. Mix until dough comes away from bowl edges
  5. Roll out onto floured surface and lightly knead
  6. Oil sheet pan and form dough into flat shape
  7. Liberally brush water on dough and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  8. Bake on lower rack for 15 minutes and then raise to upper rack for another 20 minutes

 

Notes & Tips:
  • Serve immediately
  • Recipe can be halved or doubled
  • Can be easily frozen
