Quick & Easy Naked Trahanopita


  Ingredients List:

  • 5 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • Chili flakes (optional)
  • 150g feta cheese
  • 150g kasseri cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sour trahana
  • Pepper to taste


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400*f/200*c
  2. In a large bowl, add 4 eggs, butter, milk and olive oil and mix well using a whisk
  3. Add crumbled feta and cubed kasseri and mix 
  4. Add the flour and using a wooden spoon or spatula, mix well
  5. Add the trahana and give a good final mix
  6. Grease pan with a little olive oil and pour mixture into pan
  7. Spread evenly and bake for about 45-50 minutes


Notes & Tips:
  • Makes 12-15 pieces
  • Add optional chili flakes for added heat
  • Let stand for at least 20 minutes after baking
  • If you can't find kasseri cheese, then just use any other sharp cheese
