The Creamiest Greek Style Rice Pudding | Rizogalo

Ingredients List:
- 6 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup medium grain rice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- Cinnamon for garnish

Method:
- In a medium sauce pan, slowly heat milk, rice and sugar stirring frequently
- Once small bubbles start for form around the sides of the pot, add the nutmeg
- Just before coming to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 45 minutes stirring frequently
- Add vanilla extract and stir well
- Place hot rice pudding in serving dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional)
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to cool and set
