The Easiest Greek Pita Bread Ever!!!

  Ingredients List:

  • 750g Greek stirred yogurt
  • Equal volume of self rising flour to yogurt
  • 2 tbsp. Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • All purpose flour for work surface
 

Method:

  1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine and mix all ingredients well
  2. Sprinkle work surface with a/p flour and divide dough into 2" balls
  3. Roll out dough balls into 1/8" flat circles and cook in a dry pan on medium heat
  4. Flip when underside is browning 

 

Notes & Tips:
  • Makes 8-10 pita breads
  • Cook on med-high heat
  • Can easily be frozen
  • Adjust flour quantity slightly depending on humidity
