Tzatziki Sauce / Dip


  Ingredients List:

  • 950g strained Greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 2 tbsp. fresh dill
  • 4 tbsp. Greek extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Finely grate cucumber and drain well from excess liquid
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, grated garlic, finely chopped dill, grated cucumber and olive oil
  3. Season to taste and mix well


Notes & Tips:
  • Make sure the yogurt you are using is the Greek strained type. Works best because of its thicker consistency
  • Try and make ahead at least a couple of hours before serving for maximum flavour
  • Garnish with fresh herbs, Kalamata olives or Greek olive oil
  • Serve with veggies, meat, crackers, pita or if you're like me, a big spoon!!!
