Youvarlakia In Tomato Sauce


  Ingredients List:



  1. Chop and saute 2 onions and garlic  in a large pot
  2. After 5 minutes, add crushed tomatoes, water and oregano and stir well
  3. In a food processor, finely chop the remaining onion and parsley
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion parsley mixture, rice and egg and mix well to combine
  5. Form into meatballs and drop into sauce
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until rice and ground meat are cooked


Notes & Tips:
  • Makes 4-6 servings
  • Serve with rice, veggies or crusty Greek bread
  • Add chili flakes for added heat
  • Can easily be made ahead or frozen
